This lens was first made in 1962, replacing the previous 5.8cm f1.4 lens. This is the second variant of this lens, with the scalloped aperture ring and amber lens coating. It is marked 'Noppon Kogako', rather than 'Nikon'.
Supplied with an extended six month warranty.
Will fit on some Nikon DSLR cameras. Depending on the model of camera, the exposure and metering maybe affected. It should not be fitted to a camera that has a non-removable AI tab.
